Roper Gulf Regional Council is looking for a values-driven Clinical Aged Care & Disability Manager to lead and shape the future of home-based and in-community care across services across a vast footprint where residents identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander -one of the largest and most diverse regions in Australia.

Are you a Registered Nurse with a passion for transformational aged and disability care? Do you thrive in regional remote settings, with a heart for First Nations communities and a commitment to person-centred, culturally safe care?

As Manager, you’ll:

  • Drive strategic service development and compliance with the new Aged Care Standards
  • Mentor and empower 4 community-based aged care teams + Assistant Manager
  • Collaborate with Government, funding partners, and First Nations leaders
  • Contribute to identify opportunities for growth, grants, and quality care delivery
  • Ensure cultural responsiveness, safety, and sustainability across services

About You

You’re an experienced aged care leader (RN-qualified) who brings:

  • Minimum 3 years in a management or senior clinical role
  • AHPRA registration (essential), plus current First Aid, CPR, vaccinations
  • Experience leading teams in aged care (disability services- a bonus)
  • High-level communication, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A collaborative, humble, and values-aligned leadership style
