Homewood Care is now looking for an Accounts Officer who not only brings financial expertise and attention to detail — but also values relationships, respect, and people-first service.
Your Role in the Homewood Family:
As the Accounts Officer, you’ll be at the heart of finance operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly — from resident billing and Medicare claims to compliance and reconciliations. Reporting directly to the CEO and Directors, your work will be a solid pilar to continue delivering exceptional care…
About You:
- Solid background in accounts in aged care or healthcare
- Experience with Medicare/government subsidy claims (PRODA, MAC)
- Experience with resident billing & agreements (RAD, DAP, DAC)
- Experience with reconciliations and financial documentation
- Ideally proficiency in MYOB, Microsoft Office, PRODA/MAC portals
- Exceptional organisational skills and eagle-eyed attention to detail
- Clear communicator, warm by nature, and calm under pressure
- Ready to join a collaborative, close-knit team who values what you bring
