This is a wonderful opportunity to put your RN skills to the test in a unique aged care service. The peaceful St Josephs Aged Care Facility, Kensington is a unique 46-bed residential home operated by nuns, adjacent to their convent and school, catering specifically to faith-based practitioners who have dedicated their lives to helping those in need.
This part-time RN position is ideally Wednesday and Thursday morning shifts, with opportunity for an evening shift too.
The Sisters’ who lead St Joseph’s Aged Care facility in Kensington have a strong caring philosophy and excellent reputation.

AND YOU ARE…?
- AHPRA certified Registered Nurse
- Have RN experience in the hospital, health or aged care system
- Wanting family-friendly stable shifts (versus shift-juggling)
- Desiring stepping back from a management role in residential aged care, so you have time to do other things in life.
- A strong clinician
- Calm and conscientious, able to positively influence staff to embrace change
- Someone who loves working with a great team
With a background in health or aged care, you’re an experienced Registered Nurse who understands good clinical practice and documentation.
Reporting to the Director of Nursing, who is a Sister, your responsibilities include:
- Putting your RN skills to practice
- Working with the Carers, Sisters and other RN’s to ensure high level resident care is given and documented
- Building capability in RN and AIN team care practice
