The ‘octobaker’ we’re seeking for this essential role is a jack of all trades: someone capable, organised and efficient, but who thrives on change and diversity in their day to day working life.

In July 2025, an Australian Government mandate will merge home support programs and home care packages into one: ‘Support At Home’. So this unflappable, agile team player will boast numerous strings to their bow, managing very diverse services and client needs.

Of course, a resilient, empathic people manager with a growth mindset and eye for detail won’t be fazed in the slightest. Simultaneously juggling budget allocations, client complaints, mentoring and high volume calls? A piece of cake to this adroit, versatile ‘all-trades’ virtuoso!

AND YOU ARE…?

Our Fixit person will be experienced working with standards in regulated sectors and across Government departments.

They’ll also possess:

  • Strong business acumen
  • Capability in complaints management
  • Good documentation (written) skills
  • Experience in staff management, mentoring and goal tracking

Reporting to the fabulous Executive Manager, the role entails:

  • Leading and managing a team of coordinators across diverse services including HCP, CHSP, home modifications and maintenance, OT and clinical
  • Ensuring delivery of efficient, compliant services to clients
  • Navigating healthcare systems
  • Managing budgets and financial reporting
  • Promoting brand awareness
  • Ensuring team is educated, trained and prepared ahead of aged care reforms
  • Maintaining high documentation standards – incidents, clinical governance, planning, reports, email comms etc.
