AND YOU ARE…?
While aged care and accounting qualifications are preferred, accounts receivable and payable experience is essential.
You also demonstrate:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to develop and maintain great relationships with residents, families, and other stakeholders
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities
Reporting to the Business Manager, you’ll play a hands-on role.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Manage accounts payable, receivable and payroll
- Reconcile accounts & government payments
- Support budgeting & financial reporting – including month-end, audits & compliance
- Oversee financial records & contracts
- Liaising with stakeholders – internal teams, auditors, government & external providers
- Deputising for the Business Manager
- Providing back-up support in payroll, rostering & reception when needed
